We are about 12 miles off shore. Tonight is the kind of night we all love (motor boats) clear sky, little wind, stars, moon….no rough seas. The past few days have been horrendous. We will be going into Hervey Bay off Bundaberg by morning. We are a slow go, can only do about 1300rpm before the temp gauge goes up. At the moment we are traveling 5.4kt but have been down to 2.6, much slower and we would be going backwards. We have to be in Brisbane on the 26th Oct to put Special Blend on the ship home (West Palm Beach,Fl) We fly out on the 6th Nov, so we’ll do some sight seeing by car til then.
