We are in the bay and will be heading up the river to the check in marina in
Brisbane shortly. 27*18′.262S/153*12′.794E we are following a boat that has done this many times ( you know how we are about going in the dark someplace we’ve never been) so we feel comfortable about doing this. I think we will move to
Scarbough Marina tomorrow.
We have had a glorious couple of days, glad we didn’t come in all beat up .
Will talk to you all soon. Hope we will have wifi so we can scype. I’m sure
we’ll be sleeping once docked. Jim has been up most of the night. I napped for a
while and am fresh.

We headed out on the 26th at 7:30am from Noumea, New Caledonia.
Weather looking really good for the passage to Australia. Was a little bumpy at
first then yesterday it just turned nasty. Certainly not what we bargained for,
I’ve been a bit laid up but am doing better. Jim pulled an extra long one last
night and now that I have rallied he’s sleeping. We made a turn during the night
more to the west for a better ride, now we are back on course, have 437.7nm to
go.
