We arrived in Noumea around 3:00am. New sign posted said NO dockage without permission, go to anchorage. So that’s what we did. Tried to drop anchor but the chain was tangled from all the jumping up and down. We were able to put the small one out and held secure until we could talk with
all is well, seas normal again, rough 2 or 3 days. will be in new cal monday morning (its sunday morn here now) running behind because of the rough seas. we are 100 miles to new cal. will make decision on going on to vanautu or staying new cal then. jim

we are at 25^10’x158*07e. ALL IS WELL, seas are 2 ot 4, wind 10 t015, lot of currents keeping us from making great time, but doing ok. will take slow and flat any day. crew SB
It is 8:30p our time, seas are good, our position is 25*54′.477S/256*05′.821E, heading 071*, taveling 6.6kt at 1700rpm. 14kt wind on the nose. 584 nm to Port Resolution. Nice moon out, not many clouds, so lot of stars to look at. Thank goodness the wishy-washy seas of last night and this morning are done for
All is going well. Slow night, got down to 4.3 @ 1700rpm Taking the waves right on the starboard side. As usual Jim’s view and mine are a bit different. He thinks it is an awsome ride and I say it’s a wishy-wasy one. All in all it’s good. Everything seems to be working ok.
Yesterday we went to the Steve Erwin Zoo (Australian Zoo) it was an overcast, cool day. The animals were not very active, the poor little wombats were really cold, even had blankey’s. Jim’s highlight was the 16ft croc, after he saw them feed it the chicken he was ready to leave…..we had only been there
Day before yesterday we went to Gold Coast to get oil, filters and stuff. Stopped in Tatala and had “yellow” pies….really good pies! Went up the to Mt Tamborine ( Holly that’s where you and I went and had that great coffee) went up one way and down another VERY steep, great views. Then we went to Brisbane
