we stayed a little too long at the snorkel spot, after you’ve seen the best, it’s hard to se just so-so. BUT I did get in the water and saw a gorgeous hot pink parrot fish. No good pix thought just too murky for that. It is almost mid-night your time, 2pm our time. We
Yesterday early we came out the the Reef, Hook,Line and Bait Reef to be exact. It has several big bommies called The Stepping Stone. They are in about 50ft of water and come up to a few inches on top. Loaded with fish big and little. It is one of the best snorkels we have
Finally we had sunshine. We came back to the bay where we swam with the turtle, the water was so stirred up couldn’t see anything. The bat fish were there. We dropped some bread in the water, some of the fish rolled all the way out of the water to get it. Moved to Hook
we spent another day locked inside. Wind again 20 or so and just when we thought maybe it had died it would start again and rain. Opened and closed doors all day long. Jim tried to listen to the game guess it was blocked on the internet or something, so he just “watched” the stats.

We’re good, expecting a little wind for the next couple of days, so we’re heading for a tucked in anchorage. Hopefully Butterfly Bay. It is supposed to be very nice, maybe some coral to look at????? Martha

Stonehinge Bay, Hook Island, Australia. We have been back in Australia a little over a week. Enjoyed a few days in Cairns, then met George Nason “VENTURE” in Hichinbrook Channel. Jim and George spent their time fishing, no fish! George did catch 1 mud crab and shared with us. Had one night in Magnetic Bay,
